Turkish machinery exports rose by 21.2 percent in the first seven months of 2018 compared to the same period last year, after Germany, the United States and Britain topped the list of the importing countries.
In a statement issued by the Turkish Machinery Exporters' Union, the value of machinery exports amounted to $ 9.8 billion.
The Turkish machinery sector has succeeded in increasing its foreign exports, pointing out that Turkish exports of machinery to the United States rose by 28.7 percent, despite Washington's protectionist policy.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Federation of Machine Exporters "Qutlu Qara Wali Oglu", said in the statement: The sector produces monthly machinery worth 100 million dollars in the US market, indicating the presence of customers in the US market who have a great desire to buy Turkish machines of high quality.
Exports of turbines and hydraulic cylinders exported to the United States during the said period rose 1.5 times, while exports of engines, accessories and spare parts rose to double.
