Minister of Treasury and Finance of Turkey, Berat al Bayrak, said that the ministry is in the process of presenting a proposal to the Turkish parliament to stop dealing in US dollar, in the field of sale, purchase, and rent of real estate, and in the shopping centers dealings.
This came in response to questions from journalists on the plane board, on his way home from France.
The minister also stressed that steps will be taken to avoid dealing with the dollar in the rental and sale of shops in shopping malls as soon as possible.
Turkish-American relations have been strained after US economic sanctions with political backgrounds.
